Bidhannagar mela location for 2013 is Central Park at Karunamoyee, a very well-connected place. You can reach the mela from any place form Kolkata. How? Reach Ultodanga from anywhere by bus and take an autorickshaw from there to Karunamoyee Central Park. You can also take bus directly to Karunamoyee(Saltlake) and take a walk to the mela pavilion.

You can visit stores/stalls from Egypt, Pakistan, Ghana, Bangladesh from outside India to neighbouring places Ludhiana, Lucknow, Kashmere etc. Stalls from West Bengals that have gained popularity are from  Shantiniketan, Medinipur etc.
