Indian saree is going global at this moment and we can see divas of International Fashion circuit is interested in flaunting the saree. Since the whole nine yard causes lots of trouble designer sarees are now available in ready-to-wear-stitched sarees. So what is preventing you from draping a saree? All these are now combined and experimented a lot with lots of fusion ideas and Indian designers are making it a huge success with sarees. Sometimes designers have landed in controversy by making Mandira Vedi wear a saree that was designed with different national flags and accidentally our tricolor happens to cover the lower part of mandira's body. But that is an accident I think. The designer sarees in India now really become a huge business. Designers like Manish Malhotra has designed saree for Indian divas to represent India in International Film festivals which was grand success.
